Oh, did I forget to mention that Adam got married this past weekend, to boot?

Adam is married.

The wallet was stollen, my money is gone, my keys are nowhere to be found. I got a ticket yesterday because I couldn't move my car for the street cleaner because I don't have my car key. And the man I thought for years I was going to marry has married someone else who has the same degree, the same hair, and the same build as I do.

After the debacle with missing workout yesterday morning and then forgetting to take the nephew to school, I got a lecture from DD about not being able to do all the things I used to do when I was younger and healthier. I did my best not to cry on the phone and give her the satisfaction, but cried on the way to workout after hanging up.

This morning was better. Up at 4:15 so's not to miss workout again today. Took the nephew to school. Worked out.

Now I'm exhausted again and just want to watch TV all day. I tried getting the lock out of my mailbox, but I think I need a shorter screwdriver. I'd go have a field day at Home Depot (mmmmmmm, Home Depot, yummy orange goodness....), but I have no money.

Yesterday I ate an entire box of girl scout cookies.

Fucking girl scouts. You'd think that if they were trying so hard to do good things, the least they could do is dedicate a troop or two to finding out how to make those damned cookies with no fat or sugar. I guess they figure, "Hey, if we have to run around in these ridiculous green Christmas-tree-dresses, the least the rest of the folks out there could do is get fat."

Little shits.

Right. I'm starting to sound a little bitter, eh? Perhaps I'll lie down for a bit and see if I can sleep the nastiness away.

Also? I was thinking on my way home this morning that it's entirely possible I've forgotten how to have sex with either men or women. It's been so fucking long, I'm sure there's a forgetting curve there that I've far surpassed. How long do you have to wait before you're a virgin again?
